This song jumps back to when Interstellar is on the colony before it hits Earth. During this song, Interstellar is deciding whether or not to go through with destroying the Earth and killing the Humans on it. The virus that has taken over Interstellar’s thoughts have drove him mad and he is trying to fight it. On one hand he thinks that Humanity has become a stain on the universe and they need to be wiped out so that the universe can survive before they destroy it. On the other hand, he knows that there are a few Humans that aren’t bad and are good people, like his siblings. In the end though, he is too late. There is no stopping the colony from falling and destroying Earth since it has already entered the gravity field. Interstellar regrets his decision.
